Marriott is bringing Australia’s third Ritz-Carlton hotel to the Gold Coast by 2026 in a new multi-million-dollar waterfront development at Mariner’s Cove.
Queensland's Ritz-Carlton Gold Coast is set to be among the world’s finest luxury resorts and will be a landmark for the Gold Coast and the Australian hospitality sector.
The hotel intends to bring 150 elegantly appointed guest rooms and suites, along with a 275-square-metre Ritz-Carlton Suite.
Refined dining will come from the signature restaurant featuring semi-open kitchens, a café, and three unique bars. The signature Ritz-Carlton Spa will provide luxurious wellness treatments, and guests can enjoy a rooftop outdoor pool and fitness centre.
The hotel will also provide extensive event and meeting space, with a ballroom measuring over 500 square meters and an additional 260 metres of outdoor function space.
Ritz-Carlton currently operates over 100 hotels in 35 countries and territories.

Meanwhile, St. Regis – has signed an agreement to open a Gold Coast resort in 2027.
Forming part of the billion-dollar La Pelago project on the prestigious Budds Beach precinct – featuring ultra-luxury residences, international hospitality and retail set amidst a lush and private landscaped setting – the sophisticated new St. Regis resort is set to be part of the first tower. It will feature 185 luxurious guestrooms and suites providing sweeping views of the ocean and hinterland.
Other predicted hotel facilities will include a speciality restaurant, a luxury Spa, a signature St. Regis Bar, a world-class sky bar and lounge facilities.
St. Regis has more than 50 luxury hotels and residences worldwide.
The St. Regis Gold Coast will join three other Marriott International properties on the Gold Coast, alongside JW Marriott Gold Coast Resort & Spa, the Sheraton Grand Mirage Resort Gold Coast and the soon-to-be-opened Ritz-Carlton Gold Coast.
