Marriott International has announced a fresh partnership with MGM Resorts International, which will result in 17 properties being marketed under the MGM Collection within the Marriott Bonvoy brand.
This new agreement replaces a previous collaboration between MGM and the World of Hyatt program. The launch of the MGM Collection is scheduled for October and includes renowned establishments such as MGM Grand Hotel and Casino, NoMad Las Vegas, The Signature at MGM Grand, Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino, New York-New York Hotel and Casino, Luxor Hotel and Casino, and Excalibur Hotel and Casino.
Additionally, four properties will either join or continue being part of existing Marriott brands. Bellagio Resort and Casino will become part of The Luxury Collection, ARIA Resort and Casino will join the Autograph Collection, Park MGM will become part of the Tribute Portfolio, and The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas will maintain its affiliation with the Autograph Collection.
While the majority of the hotels are located in Las Vegas, five other MGM Resorts in various US locations will also join the MGM Collection with Marriott Bonvoy: Borgata (Atlantic City, New Jersey), Beau Rivage (Biloxi, Mississippi), MGM Grand Detroit (Michigan), MGM National Harbor (Maryland), and MGM Springfield (Massachusetts).
In total, these resorts will contribute over 40,000 rooms to the Marriott Bonvoy portfolio, increasing the group's global room distribution by 2.4%.
