Dorchester Collection is bringing an ultra-luxury hotel to Tokyo’s ‘Torch Tower’ – Japan’s tallest building, Scheduled to open in 2028, this will be the first hotel IN Asia operated by the renowned hotel group.
The ‘Torch Tower’ is located in the heart of Tokyo - near the city's main railway station - and aims to become a core beacon of urban tourism in Tokyo and indeed Japan. Currently under development the tower will rise some 390 metres above the skyline, with Dorchester Collection taking the upper floors (57th to 61st) and offer guests panoramic views of Tokyo Bay, the cityscape and Mount Fuji.
Dorchester Collection operates some of the world’s most celebrated luxury hotels and residences. The current portfolio lists nine unique hotels in London, Paris, Milan, Rome and Los Angeles. A tenth hotel – The Lana Dubai – is scheduled to open in 2023.
