The Monument started life as a 19th century palazzo and is now one of Spain’s most celebrated hotels. The hotel is home to Lasarte – the three Michelin starred Martín Berasategui restaurant and also the single star Restaurant Oria – it is the only hotel in the country to hold four Michelin stars.

The quality of the hotel matches that of its restaurants. There are just 84 rooms and suites – beautifully appointed and boasting Jo Malone amenities. The Monument Hotel also features the Valmont Wellness Centre – essentially the spa – and an outdoor swimming pool. The hotel is located on the fashionable Passeig de Gràcia - close to the Gaudí spectacle – Casa Battló.
