Etihad has celebrated the reintroduction of its Airbus A380s with a special maiden flight from Abu Dhabi to London Heathrow. The first out of four Airbus A380s from Etihad's fleet is now back in service on this popular route.
Etihad’s A380 upper deck hosts 70 Business Studios. Guests can access The Lobby, a serviced lounge and bar situated between the First and Business cabins. Etihad’s exclusive partnership with Armani/Casa, passengers can also expect an enhanced Business experience with a dining service featuring ceramics, glassware, cutlery and serving ware, high-end textiles, and a memory foam mattress.
Nine First Apartments are available for passengers, featuring a private living area with high-end amenities and designer tableware, a broad leather lounge chair, and a separate ottoman that converts into an 80" (203 centimetres) lie-flat bed. First Class guests have access to personal vanity units in the comfort of the Apartment and a dedicated First Class shower room.
The Residence is a unique offering — the world’s only three-room suite in the sky. With service and hospitality from a dedicated team of Etihad cabin crew, The Residence offers a private living room, bedroom, and ensuite bathroom for guests to refresh with a shower at 40,000ft.
Guests can enjoy a choice of meals from an à la carte menu, served on designer tableware in the private living room, or enjoy breakfast in bed. Options range from gourmet cuisine to light snacks and include exquisite selections including Champagne and caviar and The Residence Signature High Tea.
Bookings for The Residence can be made on etihad.com by choosing a First Class ticket and opting to upgrade to The Residence.
