Etihad's new Boeing 787 Business Class suites have been revealed at the Dubai Airshow. Highlights include:
- Fully lie-flat-bed 78” (198 centimetres) in length
- Privacy suite door
- 17.3” (44 centimetres) 4K TV screen
- Bluetooth headphone pairing
- Multiple charging ports and wireless charging
- Plenty of storage options
The first of three new Boeing 787-9 Dreamliners - with a new interior - will join Etihad’s fleet in a matter of weeks.
Etihad’s new 787 Dreamliner Business Class cabin will feature 32 seats - offering best-in-class experiences for Etihad’s guests. The airline is the first in the world to introduce this new seat on the Boeing 787. The new seats will provide guests with generous levels of space and comfort with added privacy provided by a suite door and an increased suite height.
The aircraft is fitted with new connectivity which offers high-speed Wi-Fi with streaming capabilities on board as well as Live TV, including news and sport channels.
Through Etihad’s Wi-Fly, all Etihad Guest members can enjoy complimentary chat packages, while all guests can choose to purchase a full Surf package with unlimited data for the duration of the flight.
The Abu Dhabi-based carrier still has around 30 Boeing 787s on order, including 787-9s and 787-10s. However, so far it has only been confirmed that 787-9s will be getting these seats.
