Etihad Airways has launched a new online chat feature to provide travellers with comprehensive and up-to-date information on their visa, passport, and health requirements before booking a flight.
Accessible via the airline’s online chat on etihad.com , the feature can be found in the ‘Get In Touch’ section of the Help page. By selecting the Travel Guidelines and Transit Information option in the chat menu, customers are guided through a series of questions, resulting in a detailed list of the required visa, ticket, and travel documents, along with any other relevant requirements.
John Wright, Etihad’s Chief Operations and Guest Officer, comments, "We understand the importance of our guests feeling confident that they have the correct documents for their journey ahead of time. This feature is powered by IATA’s Timatic solution, providing real-time information on travel document requirements, trusted by the travel industry and government authorities globally."
This automated feature removes the need for passengers to spend time searching online or contacting customer service centers to verify their travel documentation requirements.
