Travellers seated in Premium Economy (and Economy) for selected long-haul flights from Hong Kong will be offered a broad spectrum of meticulously designed plant-based meals. These dishes, draw inspiration from global gastronomic traditions.
Aligning with VEDA’s and Ovolo Hotels’ "Plant’d" initiative, Cathay's partnership accentuates ethical, mindful consumption and inventive vegetarian options.
In its pursuit of sustainability, Cathay Pacific has achieved significant milestones in refining its operations. By 2022, the airline slashed its single-use plastic consumption by 56% from its 2018 metrics. This collaboration marks the dawn of an enhanced onboard culinary journey.
Until June 2024, passengers in Premium Economy on specific Hong Kong departures can indulge in this novel menu, which will evolve with changing dishes.
