British Airways has unveiled changes to its Champagne selections in First Class cabins and the Heathrow T5 Concorde Room.
Previously offering Laurent-Perrier Grand Siècle since 2011, the airline has had to find alternatives due to Laurent-Perrier shifting its focus away from the travel market, making the vintage Champagne unavailable.
In response, British Airways will now feature a seasonal rotation of high-quality Champagnes. The new lineup kicks off with Lanson Noble 2005, which will be served on board starting March 1st. This selection will change at the end of June to Duval-Leroy Femme de Champagne 2004 for the July through September period, with Bollinger Grande Année taking over in October, and Lanson Noble Blanc de Blancs 2005 in November and December.
For passengers traveling on the prestigious New York JFK route, Veuve Clicquot La Grande Dame 2015 will be offered from March 1st until year's end. Additionally, guests in the Concorde Room at Heathrow T5 can enjoy Pommery Cuvée Louise 2006 starting this month. British Airways served approximately one million bottles of Champagne last year.
